South Korea’s famed Waterbomb Festival is making its way to Manila on 22 and 23 Februrary at the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park.
Featuring Korean hip-hop, R&B, and EDM artists, alongside K-pop idols the inaugral edition of Waterbomb Manila is set to be star-studded affair. In keeping with tradition, performers will be split into two teams, Blue and Yellow, for a water fight.
Highlights include hip-hop trio Epik High, EXO rapper Chanyeol, Mamamoo’s HWASA, 2000s icon HYOLYN, rapper B.I Waterbomb regular JESSI, GOT7’s BamBam and 4th generation girl group STAYC, among many others.

The Waterbomb Festival first began in 2015 in South Korea, and sees both attendees and performers get soaked with water cannons and water guns. The popular festival has since expanded into several countries, with Manila being one of three stops outside Korea this year.
