HYBE has embarked on an exciting new endeavour as they team up with Spotify to launch an official K-pop centric video podcast series on the streaming platform.
With the podcast series all set to launch on 23 March, the original episodes will feature not only artists under HYBE but various other names who are rising and dominating the entertainment industry. Covering everything from music to daily life, the show promises a diverse range of engaging content for listeners.
With the rise of podcasts becoming a frequently consumed form of content in today's day and age, HYBE jumps on the bandwagon to establish themselves as an ever evolving giant in the entertainment industry. The upcoming podcasts sees HYBE producing their own original content through their in-house production team HYBE MEDIA STUDIO, expanding their capabilities beyond just artist management. Producing everything from documentaries and reality shows to concert screenings, the studio covers a variety of formats.
HYBE comments on this venture as they share, “Our new partnership marks our latest effort to offer audiences more immersive ways to engage with K-pop. With Spotify’s 751 million users and its leadership in podcast services, we plan to continue connecting with new audiences and sharing K-pop culture in innovative ways.”
Spotify comments on how this endeavour contributes to the way K-pop and music fans consume content as Spotify’s General Manager for Asia Pacific Gautam Talwar shares, "Every day on Spotify, we see the extraordinary passion of K-pop fans around the world as they show up to support the artists they love. This partnership with HYBE is about meeting that energy by bringing fans closer to the stories and creative journeys behind the music. By bringing even more video podcasts and original storytelling on Spotify, we’re creating new ways for fans to connect more deeply with the artists and culture they care about."
With this partnership, HYBE and Spotify are redefining how fans experience K-pop, blending music, storytelling, and video podcasts to create deeper, more immersive connections between artists and audiences worldwide.
