i-dle just made Major League history. On 4 August, the girl group became the first-ever K-pop act to perform a pregame show and throw the ceremonial first pitch at a Los Angeles Angels home game. Held at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California, the event served as a special pre-celebration for Korean Heritage Night.
Decked out in custom Angels uniforms that showed off their individual flair, the group brought their fierce charisma to the field with a high-energy performance of 'TOMBOY', 'Wife', and 'Queencard' — marking the first time a K-pop artist has performed songs during a pregame show at the stadium.

Moments before the game against the Tampa Bay Rays, YUQI stepped up to the mound and delivered a flawless first pitch, cheered on by her members and fans in the crowd. “It’s such an honour to throw out a Major League first pitch for the first time, at Angel Stadium,” she shared. “Thanks to Mr. Byung-hyun Kim’s great coaching, I was able to do it well. Performing with my group members made this experience even more meaningful and fulfilling.”
The group also got to meet baseball icons including Angels players Mike Trout and Zach Neto, legendary Korean MLB pitcher Byung-hyun Kim, and former KBO standout Dustin Nippert.

As if their appearance wasn’t iconic enough, the Angels secured a come-from-behind victory — with fans dubbing i-dle the ultimate "goddesses of victory".
This milestone follows i-dle’s standout set at KCON LA 2025 on 2 and 3 August, with their next stop at ALL THE K-POP STAGE in Macau’s Venetian Arena on 9 August.
