It's that time of year again, time to ignite your passion for some compassion (no harm intended, we know they mean well).

In addition to its artful slogan, IGNITE! Music Festival is quite the impressive feat. Held annually at Republic Polytechnic, the free event presses on with its intention of promoting rising local acts while encouraging youth volunteerism through music. 

The almost entirely student run festival is now in its ninth edition, and this years line up includes Baybeats budding artist Disco Hue, spotify chart topping singer-songwriter Linying, as well as plenty of more familiar artists like Stopgap, Plainsunset, THELIONCITYBOY, These Brittle Bones, and The Summer State. These artists will be playing alongside other Republic Polytechnic bands as well as a yet unknown act who will be selected through an audition process.
