Transport yourself into a new futuristic, bubblegum alternate universe with rising P-pop artist IIICCCYYY’s J-pop-inspired single, 'Pretty Pretty'

Produced by Mandaue NightsKarl Lucente as well as mixed and mastered by PLAYERTWO’s Luke April, the track features bright 8-bit synths and an infectious melody that has yet to be explored in the greater P-pop mainstream. When talking about what the song is about, IIICCCYY shared that the single is about “rediscovering your self-worth and celebrating relationships that make you feel whole.”

“I wanted to encapsulate the feeling of going out with people you love and just having fun. Personally, this song is a love letter to all my friends who showed me what true love really means.”

She went on to share that a J-pop-inspired song has been in the works for a while now. “It was something [Karl Lucente] and I had a common love for and something that we’ve always wanted to do, and with IIICCCYYY, it only seemed perfect and fitting… It felt liberating to be a bit unserious and even embrace a little bit of cringe. And it matches the vibe of the song anyway so it only felt right to really lean into that. Then we had Luke April master and do the vocal chops which really was the cherry on top to this song. I'm just so proud of how it turned out. My inner child is happy that this song exists.”
