There's a brand new platform for independent artists, where they can get 100% of their earnings.
Singapore-based music platform BandLab has launched Albums, a user-friendly and cloud-based service that gives creators control over publishing their work and pricing it to their liking.
Every Album has a story. And we're here to shine a spotlight on them. We speak to the artists behind 6 incredible Albums: https://t.co/6wSX9mTs1s— BandLab (@BandLab) July 10, 2020
“We’re incredibly committed to supporting our growing base of creators at each stage of their creative journey," CEO of BandLab, Meng Ru Kuok says in a statement. "We want that journey to last a lifetime, and releasing Albums is an important step in allowing our artists and independent labels to create sustainable revenue streams for themselves whilst keeping them completely in control and ownership of their own content."
Publishing music on Albums is only available via web, at press time, but will be on iOS and Android soon.
