After more than a decade of connecting musicians and fans across generations, Indomusikgram is now taking its mission further with the launch of the Indomusik Awards, a new annual celebration of Indonesia's dynamic music scene.
Unlike conventional awards shows, the Indomusik Awards is designed to be inclusive — giving recognition not only to chart-topping artists and festivals but also to indie musicians, music stores, content creators, and community organisers making waves behind the scenes.

“For more than 10 years we have seen for ourselves how diverse and dynamic the music ecosystem is in Indonesia,” said Christian Bong, Founder of Indomusikgram. “This award is a stage for everyone who keeps our music moving — from Jakarta to small towns, from pop to punk, from the screen to the streets.”
The Indomusik Awards will blend editorial curation, input from independent judges, and public voting — a triple-check system aimed at ensuring integrity, inclusivity, and relevance in its more than 30 categories. These include Song of the Year, New Musician, Favorite Music Festival, Best Music Store, and Most Impactful Community Initiative.
“Indomusik Awards is not just a celebration, but also an archive of our music culture today,” added Romi Alfitasar, Head of Media & Creative at Indomusikgram. “We want to capture who’s making the most impact, what’s resonating the most, and how music continues to move — both in the city center and in the countryside.”
Set to be an annual fixture, Indomusik Awards aims to evolve alongside the Indonesian music ecosystem and serve as a platform that champions creativity, diversity, and collaboration across genres and generations.
