Best known as the vocalist for the famed Monkey Boots, charismatic ska and reggae vocalist Denny Frust will be heading down to Singapore a one night only performance at Artistry! Hot off sold out performances in Indonesia "from Java all the way across the island archipelago to Papua", Frust's Lion City stop will be supported by none other than all-star outfit Reggeae Remedy.
Made up of bassist Heri formerly from notable Indonesian ska band Heavy Monster, guitarist Zul from The Irietones and drummer Rumshot from Instigator Afrobeat Orchestra, alongside guest horn players, the ensemble will be performing classic rocksteady tunes as well as originals!
And outside of that fiery live performance, this Dub Skankin' Hifi event will also feature DJ sets from Sir Edy of Big Up Soundsystem, Lady Emma of Singapore Soul Club and Rumshot of Singapura Dub Club who'll be pulling double duty.
This "Feel Like Jumpin'" showcase will serve as the big kickoff to an exciting Southeast Asian "Jumping For Joy Tour" that will see Denny Frust & Reggae Remedy play eight dates across Malaysia and Vietnam.
Feel Like Jumpin! Featuring Denny Frust & Reggae Remedy happens on Friday, 19 August at Artistry. Entry is by contribution. For Southeast Asian tour details, please refer to the poster below.
