One of China's top channels iQIYI celebrates the grand finale of their acclaimed musical competition show, Sing! Asia, in Macao. After many episodes that showcased numerous electrifying performances by the incredibly talented lineup of contestants, only one finalist, Japanese singer Miyuna, came out victorious and clinched the title as the champion of Sing! Asia.

The innovative "cruise + international competition" concept, and the different challenge rounds each contestant had to face during every episode to bring them closer to having a chance to win the championship title, garnered large swells of audiences invested in the performances.
The adventurous format of the competition took 32 exceptionally talented contestants from all across Asia on a journey onboard a cruise ship that embarked in Shanghai and took them to various exciting destinations such as Okinawa, Ha Long Bay, Singapore, and Klang before docking in Hong Kong for the show's finale.
Along the way on their voyage, they would face a multitude of musical challenges that tested their vocal abilities across a range of genres and highlighted each of their cultural backgrounds—showcasing the likes of the beauty of Chinese operatic singing to the distinct blends of Vietnamese folk music.
The show boasted a list of iconic international musicians featuring Malaysia's Azora Chin, British pop sensation Jessie J, Chinese superstar Jane Zhang, and Japanese pop legend Kudo Shizuka. The inclusion of such a wide variety of pop stars from such different regions and backgrounds highlighted the show's ability to focus on music, and the importance of cultural exchanges even beyond the hurdles of language and cultural barriers.
The show's refreshing concept melded with the inclusivity of international artists and a wide range of contestants from different countries, resonated with audiences not only in China but all across Asia.
The overwhelmingly positive response from viewers was seen on Chinese social media. The hashtag #Sing!Asia garnered an impressive 1.51 billion reads on Weibo, while a collaborative performance by Jessie J and Jane Zhang of 'Flashlight' & 'You Ain't Right' captivated fans on Bilibili, surpassing one million views.
According to iQIYI International, the show ranked second in cumulative variety show channel views across Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand in the first half of 2025, achieving its goal of uniting cultures through music.
