Get ready for the romantic comedy of the year as two Korean powerhouse take the screen together for a whirlwind romance. IU and Byeon Wooseok make their highly anticipated TV debut with Perfect Crown premiering on Disney+ Singapore on 10 April.
Following the story of the people’s favorite royal, Grand Prince I-AN, he comes up with a solution to fix the massive power struggle within the royal family, pitching a marriage of convenience with Huiju, the heir to a Korean conglomerate. Though the plan seems simple enough, the pair work together to orchestrate the plan as it ends in a tangled web of drama, love and emotion.
IU plays the role of the ever graceful Huiju, while her on screen partner Grand Prince I-AN is played by Byeon Wooseok. The series is helmed by director Park Joonhwa known for his previous work such as Alchemy of Souls and What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim with an awesome script by writer Yoo Jiwon. As we ease into a whole new year, with a slew of new shows, Perfect Crown joins the lineup of the latest Korean titles set to debut on Disney+.
