J-rock band My First Story, of 'Demon Slayer' fame, makes Singapore debut this July

Popular anime series Demon Slayer has captured the hearts of anime fans and casual show watchers alike across the world. Ahead of its return this August with its new movie, fans can enjoy twice the excitement, as Japanese rock band My First Story, who are behind the opening and ending theme songs of the latest season of Demon Slayer, will perform in Singapore for the first time.

My First Story will be making their Singapore debut on 13 July, at the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands, a show that will be sure to excite J-rock fans in Singapore and across the region. The show will be presented by Encore Live, a concert organiser based in Singapore who are committed to delivering world-class concert experiences, showcasing a diverse roster of global artists, supporting local economies, and collaborating to enrich the music industry. 

Tickets presale will start on the 28 and 29 April with general sales on 30 April. Tickets start from $108 on SISTIC.

My First Story is a Japanese rock band from Tokyo formed in 2011, and is currently one of the most popular rock bands in Japan, having performed at major festivals such as Summer Sonic, Rock In Japan and Punkspring. They have also been supporting acts for the likes of international bands Fall Out Boy and All Time Low.

Last year, frontman Hiroki Moriuchi, also known as Hiro, came to Singapore for the first time to participate in Anime Festival Asia. He returns this year with the rest of his band for My First Story’s debut show in Singapore. Hiro is also known as the younger brother of Taka, lead vocalist of ONE OK ROCK, one of the top rock bands from Japan that is renowned internationally.
