Thai singer-songwriter James Alyn has teamed up with London-based band PREP for a soothing new single, ‘Don’t Worry’.
Blending PREP’s signature mix of soft pop, funk, and soul with James’ warm, emotional delivery, ‘Don’t Worry’ is a heartfelt message of hope written for anyone going through tough times. The track was born from a meaningful fan encounter and a spontaneous jam session in Taipei — a moment James unearthed a year later through a voice memo.
Of the fan encounter, “She told me my songs helped her through her darkest times. I wrote this song hoping it could be a beacon of light for others who need it,” James shares.
The track’s comforting message is wrapped in lush synths, soft grooves, and nostalgic tones — everything fans love about PREP, now with a new layer of emotional depth courtesy of James’ vocals.
Previously one-half of HYBS, James Alyn is now forging his own path, seamlessly blending the past and present in his live shows and solo releases. With over a decade of experience on stage and a loyal band by his side, he continues to push boundaries while staying grounded in his roots.
