The new 14-member incarnation of Japanese boyband XY surprise dropped theirnew single ‘Crazy Love (XIV Version)’. The release was announced on 26 January during the closing Tokyo performance of the group’s first domestic tour, titled 1st ONE-MAN TOUR 2025 KALEIDOSCOPE.

The original version of ‘Crazy Love’ was the group’s debut song, touching the hearts of countless fans and leaving an indelible impression. Now, with the addition to the group of J-pop star Yuya Tegoshi, the song has evolved into a new 14-member rendition.

Tegoshi’s rich voice overlaps with JAY’s more delicate vocal style, adding further depth and dynamism to the song and giving it an even grander sense of scale. ‘Crazy Love (XIV Version)’, whose passionate melody expresses the contradictions and beauty of love, retains the brilliance of the original version. But it also breathes new life into the song by combining the vibe created between the group’s producer/rock star YOSHIKI and the 14 members of XY.

During the aforementioned concert, the group also announced that they will release their first album in June, marking the second anniversary of their debut. While details of the album have not yet been revealed, fans are abuzz at what will surely be a culmination of XY’s work so far.
