Mayuko Hitotsuyanagi, better known by her alias Cuushe, is a multi-instrumentalist and producer out of Kyoto who has been captivating audiences with her airy, mesmerizing vocals and dreamy soundscapes for years now.
The Japanese dream pop and ambient artist is back with a gorgeous new track called 'Faded Corners'. This song was specially composed for the shop Daughter and photographer Kazuhei Kimura's work 湖 Awaumi.
On 'Faded Corners' Cuushe's beautiful voice focuses on the resonance of "Ryojin", referencing the legendary anthology of Heian-period songs. This piece brings to life the famous classic 'Asobi wo Sento Ya~' from the Ryojin Hisho, a collection of superb songs from the late Heian period.
This release also includes remixes by Korean electronic duo Salamanda, Indonesian producer Melati ESP from Asatone, and Japanese artist aus - which will be released via FLAU on 13 September.
