NAQT VANE have released ‘FALLOUT’, the Japanese ensemble's first song since welcoming new member Yunoa, who joins Harukaze as twin vocalists.
Based on the themes of a “new me”, an “ideal me”, and “life after being reborn anew”, 'FALLOUT' depicts the transformation of someone who takes the opportunity to embrace change – and all the madness such curiosity may bring.
The accompanying music video is both humurous and surreal, showcasing band members Hiroyuki Sawano, Harukaze and Yunoa in an escape room-style mystery.
Notably, ‘FALLOUT’ is the theme song from the movie Ano Hito ga Kieta, which was released in Japan on 20 September, and directed by Itaru Mizuno (who was also the music video’s director of photography). As such, the video is directly intertwined with movie's story, so leep a look out for key items and concepts from the film.
True to NAQT VANE’s spirit of “creating an uplifting tailwind to guide those with a challenger spirit”, ‘FALLOUT’ sees the group attempting a new form of expression, combining musical performance with acting to create something truly memorable.
