Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora’s (BOKUAO) latest release Suki Sugite Up and down is an absolute blast!
The EP's title track is an upbeat tune with lyrics about the excitement of being crazy in love - like when the emotion gets so intense you feel like you could explode. Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora member Yagi Toa, whose videos have accumulated over 12 million views on social media thanks to her amazing dance moves, takes center stage.
The music video tells the story of falling madly in love, expressing the highs and lows of emotion through vibrant movement, as the group members dance through the hallways of a school. We even get to see Toa try her hand at wire action for the first time, gliding gracefully and committing her whole body to express that feeling of love so extreme you feel like you’re walking on air.
The single also includes ‘Sorairo no Mizushibuki’, which was the theme song for the animated feature film Ganbatte Ikimasshoi, along with the song ‘My Friends’ that was also used in the film. ‘Sorairo no Mizushibuki’ has lyrics that draw on the movie’s plot and an addictive melody, while ‘My Friends’ is a youthful song about the importance of friendship and the gratitude we feel for our besties.
