In ‘Alice/Buckingham,' Utaha who has taken over Kom_I's vocal duties, revives the band’s combinatory J-pop, EDM, and hip-hop sound.
While there may be a slight change in the line-up, this new release is thematically similar to previous Wednesday Campanella songs which were inspired by famous historical figures including French military and political leader Napoleon, Japanese samurai Ryoma Sakamoto, and American aviation pioneers the Wright Brothers.
You might not see the other enigmatic members Kenmochi and Dir.F in action but rest assured they are still very much a part of the project as they have been consistent in putting out electrifying genre-blending soundscapes that are the very embodiment of the Wednesday Campanella vision.
