JAY B is back with a new song. 

The R&B singer-songwriter dropped his latest single 'Rocking Chair' today (23 August), serving as his first single under CDNZA Records. JAY B initially debuted the track during a tearful performance at his NOSTALGIC fanmeet last June.

Sentimental and heartfelt, the track talks about wanting to be a source of comfort and warmth for someone after a tiring day. During his NOSTALGIC fanmeet, JAY B shared how he initially wrote the song for a friend but also dedicates it to anyone, including himself, who might be going through a difficult time. 

"I wanted to sing this song for people who are worn out hoping that it would console them. Hearing this song consoled me and I hope you too feel the same, I felt like it's a song I'm singing to myself. I hope it's a comforting gift to you all," he said during his fanmeet. 

'Rocking Chair' follows the release of his solo debut EP, SOMO:FUME which dropped last August. JAY B also recently released the EP, LOVE. as his alternate music persona Def.
