Jazz At The Red Dot 2019 announces complete list of performers, workshops and more

Jazz At The Red Dot is set to return for its third edition this August for four days of workshops and master classes and more.

This year's festivities include instrument class, master classes, integrated ear training-theory, ensemble practices, and jazz listening. Esteemed local jazz vocalist Alemay Fernandez and guitarist Andrew Lim, who are part of the jazz faculty at LaSalle College of the Arts, will be assisting in the classes.

Jazz At The Red Dot caters to all jazz students or any individuals interested in playing jazz, at any level of experience and is supported by the National Arts Council. Alemay Fernanzdez said of Jazz At The Red Dot via a press release: "JARD is special in the way that it is an intensive 4-day learning workshop where you don't just get expert advice from some of the best Jazz practitioners in the world, but you also get to know them as people and learn by performing with them. Opportunities like that don't come along all the time, so it's really a no-brainer for anyone interested in improving their skills and knowledge while having lots of fun!"

Every year, the international faculty present at Jazz At The Red Dot host a special performance. This year's performance comes from the likes of the Aaron Goldberg Trio, with special guest John Ellis. The performance will be held at the Esplanade Recital Studio on 10 August 2019, 8.30pm.
