JO1 are kicking off their next global chapter with 'WHATCHA DOIN'.
The upbeat pre-release single is the first taste of the group’s upcoming all-English EP, ANIMAL. Built around a light rhythmic groove and the recurring hook “What you doin’?”, the track arrives with an invitation to get up and move.
The music video for 'WHATCHA DOIN' is scheduled to premiere on 30 July at 9 PM PST.
Set for release on 2 October, ANIMAL will feature six tracks produced by Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Dem Jointz. Describing the project, he shared: “It’s like an 18-minute roller coaster, full of adventure, energy, celebration, growth, and human connection.”

The EP will arrive on the opening night of the 2026 JO1 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR ‘ANIMAL’, which will take the group across Toronto, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, and Los Angeles.
