K-pop star AleXa has just emerged as the winner of the American Song Contest

Based on the celebrated Eurovision Song Contest, NBC’s American Song Contest was a nation-wide original song and performance survival competition that had spanned over 8 gruelling weeks.

Hosted by the notable likes of Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg, the season has just reached its christening conclusion with dynamic Korea-based act, AleXa, and her striking hit ‘Wonderland’, coming in top across 50 states.

The ZB Label soloist tucks yet another competition win under her belt, following behind CUBE and Soompi’s 2017 joint talent competition, Rising Legends Season 1 under the dance category, as well as Rising Legends Season 2 as the overall winner.

However, her most recent victory is undoubtedly the most prestigious as the ‘BOMB’ act will go on to perform ‘Wonderland’ at the upcoming Billboard Music Awards, appear in a mobile commercial that’s just around the corner, and have the winning song be steamed on iHeartRadio stations throughout America.
