Pioneering Japanese virtual artist KAF surprised a packed venue of fans in Chicago during her first North American show ever with an English version of 'EAT THE PAST', one of her earliest and most characteristic songs in the creator’s catalog.
Now, 'EAT THE PAST (English Ver.)' has been released on all major streaming platforms, allowing fans around the world the chance to hear KAF return to one of her defining works in a new language.
Originally released in 2019, 'EAT THE PAST' finds KAF confronting her personal history and devouring it in a way so that she can move forward into the future. The English version translates the lyrics while keeping the sound of the original intact, underlining a theme that has been central to the performer’s journey over the years.
It’s the latest step in KAF’s push towards the global spotlight, but with many more to come in the months ahead.
