Japanese virtual singer KAF has unveiled her latest single, 'Unraveling'. The track serves as the ending theme for episode six of the anime series KAMITSUBAKI CITY UNDER CONSTRUCTION, where KAF stars alongside her fellow V.W.P members.
Crafted with Neuron — one-half of electronic duo Empty old City — the song leans into a genre-blurring groove of club rhythms, jazz textures, and introspective lyrics. Over its stuttering beat, KAF explores themes of impermanence and identity, delivering a sonic journey that's both philosophical and infectiously catchy.
Accompanying the single is a stunning animated music video that offers an abstract, digital reflection of KAF’s virtual persona.
The release lands just ahead of her livestream event I SCREAM LIVE 4, happening this Sunday, 24 August at 8 PM JST, where she’ll perform a set of covers. KAF is also set to appear in YouTube Music Weekend on 31 August.
