Kapitan Kulam are paying it forward for the families affected by the Taal eruption.

The Filipino sludge act composed of—Lourd De Veyra and Kaloy Olavides on guitars, Eric Melendrez on bass, and Jay Gapasin on drums—announced that they will be pledging sales made from their limited edition t-shirts to Taal evacuees in Tanauan, Batangas, the hometown of Melendrez. 

"Stoked to work on this project with two people who have my utmost respect: Talo Lambito of Food Not Bombs Dasmariñas, who were among the first to respond to evacuee needs, and visual artist-musician Curse/Gift, of the formidable Batangas hardcore group Sauna," the band writes on Instagram.

Orders for the limited edition Kapitan Kulam shirts open this February. Details to be announced soon.
