Keina Suda has dropped a dark, electrifying new track that pulses with emotion and cinematic energy.
The single ‘Libera リベラ’ serves as the theme song for TV Tokyo’s new drama We Are Bad Barbers (俺たちバッドバーバーズ), diving deep into the themes of tension, inner demons, and fleeting freedom.
Directed by Mai of CLAN QUEEN, the music video brings Keina’s storytelling to life with striking visuals that contrast shadow and light — a mirror to the track’s gritty alt-pop soundscape.
“The fleeting glimpses of liberation in the video represent moments where clarity of mind sparks action,” shares Mai. “The MV’s final burst of light resonates with the dark-but-punchy sound of the song, reflecting Keina Suda’s musical world.”
‘Libera’ continues Keina’s evolution as one of Japan’s most compelling alt-pop voices, following 2025’s Fall Apart — a cover album that reimagined his Balloon-era catalogue with a cinematic edge.
