The tour follows his 2025 JUNK world tour, which marked his live debut in the US, Europe, and Korea and drew 440,000 attendees across its domestic and international run. The upcoming GHOST tour will begin in Japan this November, with 14 arena performances across six cities scheduled through December.
Yonezu first gained recognition in the Vocaloid scene under the name Hachi, before releasing music under his own name in 2012. Since then, his work has connected with audiences through songs such as 'Lemon', the theme for Japanese drama Unnatural, and 'KICK BACK', the opening theme for Chainsaw Man.
His more recent releases include 'IRIS OUT', the theme for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, and 'JANE DOE', a collaboration with Hikaru Utada that serves as an ending theme for the film. 'IRIS OUT' reached Number Five on the Billboard Global 200, the highest-ever position for a Japanese-language song, while 'KICK BACK' became the first Japanese-language song to receive RIAA Platinum certification.
