Solo artist Kento Nakajima has released his first official solo single 'MONTAGE'.
Building on the success of his chart-topping debut album N / bias, Nakajima continues to deepen the diversity of his sound, weaving infectious pop hooks with an undercurrent of haunting mystery. Featured as the opening theme for the anime The Dinner Table Detective, the song highlights Nakajima’s impressive vocal range, while the accompanying music video elevates the experience through his expressive acting and captivating choreography.
Though 'MONTAGE' marks his first official single since the beginning of his solo artist career, it’s his third track to be featured as a television theme—following 'FATAL' (released as the duo GEMN with Tatsuya Kitani) for the second season of the hit anime Oshi no Ko, and HITOGOTO, the theme for the live-action drama Shosen Hitogoto Desu kara: Toaru Bengoshi no Honne no Shigoto, in which he also starred.
A physical disc version of 'MONTAGE' drops 21 May wherever Japanese CDs are sold, featuring additional songs and exclusive behind-the-scenes video content across three separate formats.
Joining STARTO ENTERTAINMENT at just 14, Kento Nakajima has spent half his life in the spotlight as a member of the boy band quintet Sexy Zone. After stepping out as a solo artist in 2024, he's ready to unveil a bold new chapter in his career; one that puts his unique creativity front and center for the world to see.
