Kento Nakajima’s debut solo album N / bias (pronounced: non-bias) is now available.
A bold new chapter for an artist who has spent over half his life as one of Japan’s top boyband idols, N / bias captures the essence of raw emotion while embracing unfiltered fun.
From the upbeat charm of Spotify‘s Daily Viral Songs hit 'jealous' to the sultry experimentation of 'PICARESQUE' and 'THE CODE'—the latter self-produced as an insert song for his first overseas drama, CONCORDIA —N / bias unveils a reimagined Nakajima; casting aside external expectations of who he was and what others think he should be to emerge brimming with fresh energy and artistic evolution.
In addition to being available for streaming and download on all major digital platforms, the album is also available as a physical CD wherever Japanese music / movies are sold, featuring tons of behind-the-scenes and bonus content across three separate editions.
"I'm pouring my heart into this album, crafting songs that capture humanity's darkest emotions and brightest hopes. My goal is to deliver something fresh, unbiased by my past, something real. Something honest. Something… me. The holiday release is also significant for me. I decided to become an idol myself one Christmas after receiving the 2005 CD Seishun Amigo from Kazuya Kamenashi and Tomohisa Yamashita’s collaborative unit Shuji and Akira, so my wish is that this album might inspire someone somewhere along the same incredible path.”
