Formed in Melbourne in 2010, the six-piece have become one of Australia’s most prolific experimental rock acts. While rooted in psychedelic rock, their sprawling catalogue has ventured into thrash metal, krautrock, microtonal music, electronic production and orchestral arrangements.
Known for improvisational performances and setlists that draw from their vast discography, King Gizzard have built a live reputation around unpredictability — making each stop a potentially different experience for their dedicated Weirdo Swarm fanbase.
