King & Prince tease best-of album 'Mr. 5' with 'King & Prince, Queen & Princess' video - watch

On 27 March, the Japanese idol group dropped the music video for 'King & Prince, Queen & Princess', one of the tracks from their upcoming album. Mr. 5 will be available on 19 April 2023.

Mr. 5 is the 'Tsukiyomi / Irodori' act's first best-of album. It comes in four versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, Regular Edition, and the Dear Tiara Edition. The music video serves as the YouTube version of the bonus video included in both Limited Edition A and Limited Edition B.

All editions feature King & Prince's discography extensively. In all editions, DISC 1 features many of their songs, from the debut single 'Cinderella Girl' to the 12th single 'Life Goes On / We Are Young'. It will also feature a new song produced exclusively for the new album.

The DISC 2 of Limited Edition A and Limited Edition B each include 10 previously released songs other than the single title songs and album lead songs, selected by the members themselves. It will also feature two additional songs, 'SWEET & MEMORIES' and 'COOL & GROOVIN''. On the other hand, the Regular Edition DISC 2 will contain five lead songs from the group's previous album. The jacket is said to be illustrated by member Kaito Takahashi.

The Dear Tiara Edition includes the top 15 songs selected through the voting project called Popular vote! Let’s make the Best of King & Prince album together! conducted in January.

The new music video and upcoming album come after the release of 'Life Goes On'. It also follows the announcement that members Sho Hirano, Yuta Jinguji, and Yuta Kishi will be departing from King & Prince this May, while Ren Nagase and Kaito Takashi will continue as a duo.
