Paris fashion and music brand Kitsuné and global independent association shesaid.so are bringing women in music together to celebrate International Women's Day this March.

With the upcoming Women's Day 24 Mix, the likes of Tokyo's YonYon, Bangkok-based artist DJ Kade, Afro funk producer Banga, Peckam-raised multidisciplinary creative stephseeks, Rinse FM radio host Andy 4000, New York City's very own KITTYSAYWORD, Whitney AbstraKt from Atlanta, Los Angeles-based '90s dancehall artist Shacia Päyne, multidisciplinary creative Sahar Habibi, South Korean turntablist Sujin, Manila-based hip-hop/urban DJ Butta B, industrial and experimental Japanese producer Shioriybradshaw, and Shanghai's multi-genre creative Ji Na will be coming together for the ultimate tribute to women.

The Women's Day 24 Mix will kick off in two parts via BandsinTown's official Twitch channel on March 8 (Monday) at 8 p.m. PHT/SGT and via Kitsuné Musique’s Soundclound channel on March 9 (Tuesday) at 8 p.m. PHT/SGT.

A shesaid.so x Kitsuné Women's Day Fund has also been established to provide hardship payments of up to €250 (approx. PHP 14,700) each to freelancers, contractors, and artists in the independent music scene who were severely affected due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

"shesaid.so is proud to partner with Kitsuné Musique to celebrate International Women's Day with what we both know best: music," Andreea Magdalina, Founder of shesaid.so. says in a statement. "What's special about our collaboration in 2021 is how diverse and global our guest artists are, in true reflection of both our communities.

"With the pandemic disproportionately affecting women and gender minorities in our business, we hope that the funds we raise with our partnership will provide much needed support to the shesaid.so community worldwide," she adds.
