Last October, Bandwagon was invited for the launch of Klipsch's latest products, the Heritage Series HP-3 Headphones and R5 Neckband Headphones.
We tested the HP-3 during the launch and were graciously given a pair of the R5 Neckband headphones to put through the wringer. We detail our experiences below.

Heritage Series HP-3 Headphones
The HP-3 Headphones were modeled after the original pair of headphones that founder Paul W. Klipsch created when he was just 15 years old. Designed for audiophile elitists, the headphones provide unrivaled sonic superiority in quality and make.
The headphones are crafted from die-cast steel, milled wood, premium leathers, and machined aluminum components. The headphones are meant for premium enjoyment at home, and boast a 52mm KG-520 biodynamic driver housed in a back-vented design.
They pair best with the Heritage Headphone Amp to further boost quality for audiophiles to extract every detail from studio recordings and revealing both presence and detail without sacrificing bass.
It's a premium set of headphones, and the sound quality immediately matches up to it at first listen — crystal-clear and distinct, with an expansive soundstage that feels endless, along with a warm tone that would make the most clinical recording sound alive.
Reference R5 Neckband Wireless Headphones
We've had a lot of time to experiment with the R5 Neckband and we have to say, it's amazing. It stands out from other wireless earphones in more ways than one.
The first thing about the R5 that one notices is the actual neckband itself. In a world of plastic neckbands, Klipsch have decided to take the road less traveled by using genuine leather instead. Designed to age, the R5 does a remarkable job of molding to your frame and over time, it becomes uniquely yours.
Sound-wise, the R5 is as good as it gets. It features award-winning sound quality you'd come to expect from top-tier Klipsh products at an affordable price and has cutting-edge patented comfort oval-ear tips, to best suit the human ear.
It also has Bluetooth functions, vibrates upon calls and has an 8-hour battery life. For a pair of Bluetooth earphones, you'll find yourself never thinking about the 3.5mm jack.
