Genre-blending band Kroi are back with a high-octane new single, 'Method', now serving as the opening theme for the TV anime SAKAMOTO DAYS Part 2.
Dropped alongside a slick new music video, the track matches the anime’s adrenaline-filled storyline with Kroi’s signature tight grooves and high-energy funk-rock fusion. The video, directed by Taichi Kimura, was shot entirely using 40 iPhones in a 360-degree rig — capturing the band’s raw, live performance intensity from every angle.
Speaking on the anime tie-in, the band shared, “In Part 2, the contrast between everyday life and intense action gets even stronger. So we tried to bring that out by adding a slightly uneasy vibe beneath the bright tone.”
SAKAMOTO DAYS, based on the hit manga by Yuto Suzuki, has over 8 million copies in circulation. It follows the story of a retired hitman turned family man, now fighting to protect his peaceful life from deadly assassins. Part 2 of the anime introduces a chaotic three-way clash involving elite strike forces and mysterious villains — now streaming globally on Netflix.
This marks Kroi’s third anime theme song, following UNDER NINJA and SAND LAND. Fans can also catch them live this August as they kick off their Kroi Live Tour 2025 – HALL across Japan, ahead of their arena shows in 2026.
