Kubra Commander is back with his single ‘Life On The Moon’ that will be featured on the tracklist of his upcoming third album. The track fuses post-britpop elements with the emotive indie rock that has defined Kubra Commander with every release throughout his discography thus far.

Kubra Commander takes listeners on a dreamy journey in search of the meaning of life, and what each moment and experience does in shaping the people that we are. The mellow nature of the track comes through in the pensive lyrics and ambient soundscapes created through the radiant guitars paired with sweeping piano and lilting vocals.
Kubra Commander shares the process behind the track and how it came about as he muses, "It was one of the first few songs written for the new album and it was the most challenging to produce for me and Jeremy Rigodon. But I’m glad with how it turned out. The musician friends I onboarded to record on the track were able to help fulfill the vision for the song. It’s also a huge tick off my personal bucket list to be able to incorporate my post-Britpop influences into the track.”
The release of ‘Life On The Moon’ joins the buildup toward the release of his upcoming third album. 2025 previously saw the release of tracks such as 'Magnafanta,' 'There’s Something on My Mind,' 'On the Outside,' 'Safety,' and 'When the World Ends.'

With 'Life On The Moon', Kubra Commander continues to solidify his signature sound while exploring new emotional and musical depths. As anticipation builds for his upcoming third album, the single offers a glimpse of the introspective, genre-blending journey listeners can expect.
