Lastlings, a Japanese-Australian electro pop sibling duo formed by Amy and Josh Dowdle, have just announced their debut album today (17/9).

The news was delivered with a cinematic trailer that hinted at the concept of their upcoming drop titled First Contact, which is slated for release on 20 November.
With a mix of chaos, suspense and existential themes, the almost 3-minute long video was imagined by Lastlings themselves, including its writing and production. According to the credits listed in the short film, Josh Dowdle also had a part to play in the shots that you see.
BANDWAGON TV
The third song off First Contact’s 12 track listing, ‘Out of Touch’, will be out on 15 October next month.
Lastlings signed to Rose Avenue Records after they were discovered by Rüfüs Du Sol back in 2018.
