'Meidai' captures intense emotions with its theme that follows the narrative of a young girl navigating the harsh realities of society while searching for hope and love.

The lyrics such as, "A drop in the ocean. It may be a tiny difference like an eye drop. But I seek for that drop. The meaning of my existence here"—capture the delicate nature of what the young girl is seeking. Paired with drum and guitar music that alternate between intense beats and quiet melodies, the song also reflects the brutal realities of the society she is braving to find it.

The music video for 'Meidai' breathes life into the story behind the track beautifully. Directed by Daiki Kamoshita, the concept of the video translates the message of the song perfectly by representing the young girl as being an outcasted creature who finds a friend who gives her the courage to overcome the bleak realities of society.

'Meidai' is a theme song for a Japanese news program, NTV news zero, and will be included on the tracklist of RADWIMPS' 10th studio album that comes out on 8 October.

The release of the album will be accompanied by the 20th Anniversary Special Box set—featuring footage of their special studio performance, exclusive behind-the-scenes content from interviews, and rare clips from their very first arena show at Yokohama Arena in August 2007.

Following the album, RADWIMPS is also set for another arena tour happening in nine cities across Japan this October.
