LE SSERAFIM have officially released of their second studio album, PUREFLOW pt. 1, alongside the vibrant music video for its focus track, 'BOOMPALA'.
The album marks the group's first full-length release since UNFORGIVEN in 2023, and continues the narrative that first began with their debut anthem 'FEARLESS'. This time around, the quintet explore fear not as something to defeat, but as something to acknowledge and grow alongside — an ongoing emotional journey that shapes identity over time.
The title PUREFLOW itself is an anagram of “POWERFUL,” reflecting themes of movement, transformation, and emotional release threaded throughout the record. Across the album, LE SSERAFIM navigate different stages of fear — from uncertainty to acceptance — turning deeply personal emotions into a shared experience.
At the centre of the release is 'BOOMPALA', a Latin house-inspired track that samples the globally iconic 'Macarena'. Built around instantly recognisable rhythms and playful energy, the song taps into a sense of nostalgia while transforming it into a modern festival-ready anthem. With its repetitive choreography and crowd-driven structure, 'BOOMPALA' is designed to bring listeners together across generations and cultures.
The official music video leans fully into that celebratory spirit, pairing bright visuals and dynamic choreography with the track’s infectious momentum.
