True Damage are back with their first release in seven years.

The Riot Games virtual hip-hop collective have returned with 'Know My Name', the anthem for the 2026 League of Legends World Championship. Released via Riot Games/Virgin Music Group, the track brings together SOYEON of i-dle, Coco Jones, Vic Mensa, and Sofía Reyes.

The release marks True Damage’s first new music since their 2019 debut single 'GIANTS', which has amassed more than 230 million streams across platforms. It is also the first time one of Riot’s virtual artists has taken on a Worlds anthem, following contributions from acts including NewJeans, Linkin Park, and G.E.M.

For those meeting the group for the first time, True Damage comprise five League of Legends champions: rappers Akali and Ekko, vocalist and rapper Qiyana, vocalist Senna, and DJ and producer Yasuo.

SOYEON reprises her role as Akali, while Coco Jones voices Senna, Vic Mensa takes on Ekko, and Sofía Reyes brings Qiyana to life. The multilingual collaboration centres on ambition, individuality, and the competitive drive to make a name for yourself on the Worlds stage.

“It’s such an honor to be part of True Damage again, especially for this year’s Worlds anthem,” says SOYEON. “I can't wait to see the reactions of League's fans when they hear the song. I'm really excited to create an amazing opening ceremony with all the League players and fans.”

For Jones, joining the collective offered a different way to approach music and storytelling.

“Riot has really created this incredible world where music and storytelling come to life, and being able to bring my own style and energy into that has been so much fun,” she shares.

Mensa, meanwhile, drew from his character’s story when writing his contribution. “I had a lot of fun stepping into Ekko’s world, diving into his story, and finding ways to bring some of that into my verse,” he says.

Reyes highlights the mix of languages and cultures as a defining part of the collaboration. “It also brought out a fiery side of me that you don't usually hear in my music, so I hope you enjoy it!”

True Damage are also set to perform at the Worlds 2026 Opening Ceremony, presented by Mastercard, at Barclays Center in New York on 14 November.
