LIL LEAGUE are ready to go global. The six-member Japanese boy group just dropped their second full-length album NEOMATIC, and it's a confident leap forward in both sound and ambition.

Formed via LDH’s massive iCON Z ~Dreams for Children~ audition — which drew 48,000 hopefuls — the group are celebrating their third anniversary with a fresh chapter aimed squarely at fans across Southeast Asia.

The title NEOMATIC signals LIL LEAGUE’s commitment to shaping the next era of J-pop — one that fuses youthful swagger with genre-blending creativity. Fronting the album is ‘LILMATIC’, a bold single that flips Beethoven’s ‘Für Elise’ into a beat-driven anthem.

“Because the song blends classical music with hip-hop, it felt both nostalgic and like stepping into a completely new genre at the same time,” shared leader SENA IWAKI, who also noted the challenge of layering vocals over the iconic melody.

Other highlights include:

  • ‘Youth Spark’ – the group’s 2024 summer anthem

  • ‘Wonder Island’ – official theme of their LIVE TOUR 2026 “Wonder Island”

  • ‘Manatsu no Hanabi’ – their latest single infused with seasonal flair

Fans can also look forward to exclusive content in the upcoming video edition, featuring MVs, behind-the-scenes footage, and a special live segment from NEO EXILE SPECIAL LIVE 2025.

With growing international support, especially from Southeast Asia, the group has their eyes on regional stages.

“In 2026, we hope to become artists who can deliver our music and live performances to an even wider audience in a meaningful way,” said SENA. “We are truly happy to know that there are people overseas who support us”.
