LIL LEAGUE from EXILE TRIBE have unveiled the music video for their latest single, 'Boku wo Sagashiteta'.
The heartfelt ballad sees the six-member Japanese group turning inward with a message of self-acceptance. Built around piano, strings, and brass, the track gradually swells from a quiet opening while spotlighting the members' vocals.
Its accompanying music video explores how comparison and constant connection through social media can make it easy to lose sight of yourself. SORA NAMBA takes centre stage as a boy grappling with loneliness and anxiety, pursuing a mysterious "second self" through a deserted town before memories of his friends help lead him back to who he is.
"It's easy to lose sight of who you are by comparing yourself to others or chasing an ideal. But you don't have to become someone else – there are things that make you uniquely you," NAMBA shared.
'Boku wo Sagashiteta' forms one half of LIL LEAGUE's double A-side single with 'LOCA', their collaboration with NEX and AA of Thai group BUS because of you i shine. The physical release arrives on 26 August.
