Netflix has been pumping out several reboots and continuations of classic shows — like Fuller House and Trailer Park Boys — but perhaps none has garnered more attention and surprise than the reboot/continuation of the classic kids show, Magic School Bus.

Aptly titled The Magic School Bus Rides Again, the cartoon takes a modern spin on the classic series, with newer animation styles and depictions of current technology (Liz the chameleon is still around, don't worry). It also has a new flair to it, with Netflix recruiting Broadway superstar Lin-Manuel Miranda.

Miranda is an American composer, lyricist, playwright, and actor best known for creating and starring in the Broadway musicals Hamilton and In The Heights, along with contributing Oscar-nominated music for Disney's Moana.

Lin-Manuel's modern rendition of the theme song still holds the same whimsical and childlike qualities that we've come to know and love of the series. 

The Magic School Bus Rides Again will air on Netflix on September 22nd.
