Logic Lost is the brainchild of Jakarta-based Dylan Amirio.

His brand of electronica, recalling the music of Oneothrix Point Never, sounds maniacal and urgent. Easiest proof of this is his full length, Runaway, that was released in 2015. But now, with a new, 7-track EP (titled If I Trust You) imminent, he tries to soften the edges. 

'Need You' is the EP's first single. It's definitely... slower, but it hardly suggests a far-cry, an obvious avoidance to his past sounds. The synths are sheepish rather than menacing — mood takes over when melody fails to do so. Good stuff.
