Live Nation Malaysia has said that all ticket categories for BTS’ upcoming Kuala Lumpur concerts remain fully available, following allegations that tickets were being sold through unofficial channels before sales had officially opened. In a statement shared on Instagram, the promoter said tickets would only be available from 3 June onwards across all pre-sales and general sale phases, and that sales would be conducted strictly online via the official platforms golive-asia.com and Trip.com for the Trip.com presale.
The clarification follows online backlash from Malaysian fans, who raised concerns online over claims that tickets were already being offered ahead of the official membership pre-sale. A screenshot was circulated alleging that a Soundcheck VIP Package ticket was being offered at RM3,288, nearly triple its official price of RM1,288, fuelling speculation that tickets had been quietly circulated before public access opened.

Two days earlier, Live Nation Malaysia managing director Paramananthan Rajagopal had also warned fans that claims of privately distributed tickets were a scam. Speaking after the launch of KL Headline Season 2026, he said scammers could use insider-sale claims to gain fans’ trust, and urged concertgoers to buy only through official sources. He also noted that identifying resellers can be difficult because most transactions happen online.

Rajagopal added that the recently launched Beli Tiket Selamat campaign had come at the right time, saying fans are the ones most at risk in ticket fraud cases. The initiative is meant to protect Malaysians before, during, and after ticket scam incidents through awareness, victim support, and intelligence sharing with enforcement agencies.
The BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ in Kuala Lumpur is scheduled to take place on 12 and 13 December at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil. The two shows will mark BTS’ first concert in Malaysia since 2015 and will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design.
With sales set to open soon, the update serves as a reminder for fans to stay cautious and rely only on verified ticketing channels as demand for BTS’ Kuala Lumpur return continues to surge. As excitement builds toward the December shows, the situation also highlights the growing importance of stronger anti-scam measures in protecting concertgoers during major live events.
