Lola Amour and Jan Roberts are looking back at what could have been in their first collaboration, 'Tapos Na Ba (Tayong Dalawa)'.
Released on 25 September, the folk-pop track sees the two Filipino acts reexamine a relationship that has already ended, turning memories into imagined scenarios and unanswered questions about how things might have turned out differently.
Rather than simply yearning for a former love, 'Tapos Na Ba (Tayong Dalawa)' finds its narrator confronting the lingering "what ifs" that follow a breakup — including the possibility of a life where the relationship never ended.
The song was written by Roberts and Lola Amour frontman Pio Dumayas, with the composition credited to Roberts alongside Lola Amour members Jeffrey Abueg, Emilio Dumayas, Pio, Zoe Gonzales, Angelo Mesina, Raffy Perez, and David Yuhico.
Produced by Lola Amour, the track was recorded by Macoy Manuel, mixed by CUURLEY, and mastered by Jett Galindo. It also features Roi Mendones on trumpet.
'Tapos Na Ba (Tayong Dalawa)' arrives as Lola Amour continue to bring their blend of pop, funk, and indie music to audiences beyond the Philippines. The seven-piece are set to return to Singapore for the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, joining a lineup that includes Janet Jackson, Goo Goo Dolls, Zara Larsson, CORTIS, and more.
Roberts, meanwhile, released his debut five-track EP, Pusong Pabrika, in August. The project was preceded by 'Selepono' with jikamarie and 'Kung Masusunod' with Johnoy Danao, the latter of which is nominated for Folk Song of the Year at the 2026 Filipino Music Awards.
