Lorde is back!
After almost 4 years since her last album, the New Zealand singer-songwriter is expected to drop new music very soon. Her forthcoming project, titled Solar Power was teased via her website that sees new artwork and the caption: "Arriving in 2021 … Patience is a virtue."
This comes after Lorde updated fans last year via a newsletter that she recorded new music with her Melodrama collaborator, Jack Antonoff. "The work is so fucking good, my friend. I am truly jazzed for you to hear it," she writes.
The GRAMMY-winning singer also mentioned that despite the long wait, she wanted to give her fans something of the highest quality. "I want nothing more than to feed you treats, pop perfect morsels straight into your little mouths. But as I get older I realise there’s something to be said for the pleasant feeling of waiting for something of quality to become available to you," she says.

Lorde was also announced as a headliner for Barcelona's Primavera 2022 music festival, alongside The Strokes and Tame Impala, as well as IDLES, Charli XCX, Tyler The Creator, and more.
