Lucy Rose has just launched her own independent label.

From singer-songwriter to label head, Lucy Rose announced on Wednesday (01/15) that Real Kind Records is now up and running. The launch comes along with the release of their first signee Samantha Crain and her single 'An Echo.'

"Supporting other artists and music culture has always been so important to me and now I’m lucky enough to be able to sign artists I love and help get their music out into the world," Rose writes in an Instagram post.

New York and London-based label Communion Music took to social media to share the news that they are partnering with Real Kind Records.

Communion is a company founded by musicians, and we believe in a music industry that is full of entrepreneurial artists leading the way and telling their own stories. With that in mind we are so excited to be partnering with @lucyrosemusic on her new label @RealKindRecords.

Samantha Crain is scheduled to release her upcoming studio album A Small Death via Real Kind Records on May 1 (Friday).
