Fans of lo-fi hip-hop and jazz rap are in for a rare treat as the Luv(sic) Hexalogy tour heads to Southeast Asia courtesy of POST Presents, bringing together a legendary body of work and its collaborators for two intimate shows in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
First released across 15 years, the Luv(sic) series is a six-part collaboration between Shing02 and the late producer Nujabes — widely regarded as one of hip-hop’s most beloved and enduring projects. What began as a chance meeting in Tokyo evolved into a deeply personal musical dialogue, one that continued to resonate even after Nujabes’ passing.
This tour presents what is billed as the definitive live rendition of the Luv(sic) Hexalogy — reimagined for the stage with longtime collaborator SPIN MASTER A-1 and UK jazz-hop outfit OMA.
The performance places Shing02 front and centre, highlighting his voice, philosophy, and storytelling, while blending live instrumentation with the signature textures that defined the original recordings. It’s a show that bridges generations of listeners — from longtime fans to those discovering the project through anime, street culture, and lo-fi communities.
Notably, this marks the first time all three acts — OMA, Shing02, and SPIN MASTER A-1 — will perform together in Southeast Asia, making it a significant cultural moment rather than just another tour stop.
