Rising singer-songwriter Maisy Kay joins forces with Levent Geiger for ‘addicted 2 u’, a new duet exploring the intoxicating rush of falling for someone and the magnetic pull that makes love feel like an addiction. Out on 6 November, the track captures the intensity of infatuation and the way one person can occupy your thoughts long after they have left the room.
For Maisy Kay, ‘addicted 2 u’ marks a significant milestone as her first-ever released duet. Exploring the all-consuming feeling of a new connection, the song delves into the fine line between attraction and obsession, turning the familiar metaphor of love as a drug into a shared musical experience.
“This song is my first-ever released duet, and I’m so excited. It is about the infatuation that comes with falling for someone, and what an addictive feeling it can be. There’s a good reason why they say love is a drug!” says Maisy Kay.
Levent Geiger shares the vision behind the track, describing his ambition to create a relationship anthem that listeners can connect with through their own experiences of love and longing.

“I’ve always wanted to write the ultimate relationship anthem. We’ve all been addicted to someone at some point and this song should make you feel and think about that person,” says Levent Geiger.
With ‘addicted 2 u’, Maisy Kay and Levent Geiger tap into a universally recognisable feeling: the exhilaration, vulnerability and emotional pull of wanting someone so much that it becomes difficult to think about anything else.
