Set up as a high-profile platform to showcase rising homegrown and regional talent, Marina Bay Sands' fabulous new concert series Open Stage is set to debut this weekend with a free event at the MBS Event Plaza!
Supported by Bandwagon, the inaugural edition will feature three huge names in the local scene – singer songwriter and former Singapore Idol winner Sezairi, popular synth-pop quartet Disco Hue, and actress turned singer Gayle Nerva, who will perform with The Mommashop.
In addition the event will also unveil MBS' revamped light and water show, now dubbed as Spectra!
Described as a "beautiful symphony of music, water and light that's powered by advanced lasers, fountain jets and visual projector", the stunning show is free to the public and will be displayed over the water at the Event Plaza.
Taking place Friday, 2 June, the musical attractions will each perform 30 minute sets.
Gayle Nerva & The Mommashop is set to go up first from 7:15pm, followed by Disco Hue at 8:15pm, before Sezairi takes the stage at 9:15pm. The state-of-art Spectra light and water show 15 minutes before each set at 8pm, 9pm and 10pm respectively.
Sounds like the ideal audio-visual spectacle to welcome the weekend with!
