Mechatok's wide spectrum of music incorporates an adventurous mix of boundary-pushing pop, dancefloor energy, and internet-era soundscapes. Since the beginning of his decade-long career, he has demonstrated his electronic music prowess through various collaborations and through his solo discography, from his first album Defective Holiday OST to his latest album Wide Awake.
Wide Awake signals the mark of a new chapter with its playful and genre-blending sensibilities that make the live rendition deviate from fitting neatly into a concert or DJ format, unfolding as a collective sound journey shaped by layered textures, fluid melodies, and immersive atmospheres.
Bringing even more vibrant vibes to the rustic venue Pasir Panjang Power Station A, the pair of local DJs will be performing on stage during the show as well. beansclub, the creator of “trancegaze,” brings his euphoric and rich hard techno and dreamlike sounds to the stage. Also joining the roster is prostatelatte. Blending hyperpop, trance, deconstructed club, techno, and queer dancefloor staples into electrifying DJ sets, they’ve become a defining force in the scene, co-founding Singapore’s RINGTONE and cultivating both its sonic identity and its community.

As the only Southeast Asian stop on the tour, Mechatok’s Singapore show promises to be more than just a gig, it’s set to be a full-bodied sonic immersion. With his genre-defying vision, the atmospheric industrial backdrop of Pasir Panjang Power Station A, and the dynamic energy of beansclub and prostatelatte rounding out the lineup, the night is primed to blur boundaries and push dance music into thrilling new territory.
